Toning up for a leaner you
Ok so looking like a body builder is not for you, but getting that [tag-cat womens health ]tone[/tag-cat] lean look is, so what is the best way to get that look? Well its no secret that building muscle is great for the constant burning of fat, but bulking up is not for everyone and is not the recommended why to get that tone look you're looking for. While in the gym (oh no, the gym! That means I have to exercise right?), yes the gym, that place where you perform resistance training you need to focus on increasing the intensity of your workout by increasing your reps which also means reducing the weight. A good combination of cardio and weights/resistance training is key. Many people make the mistake of doing cardio alone or weights alone. When combined the cardio will burn the fat and the weights build the muscle.
More importantly your results are probably 60% or so dependent on what you do outside of the gym. What I'm referring to is your diet. If you do a great job in the gym, but don't eat a [tag-tec]nutritious[/tag-tec] and well balanced diet chances are your success if any will be slim, but your waistline will not be. Don't focus so much on the number of calories as much as where those calories are coming from. Exercise along with a healthy diet containing fruits vegetables low fat meats for protein and drinking plenty of water will server you well.
Best Regards,
Stephen
