Is a six pack of abs sexy on a woman?

I was reading a couple of posts on this by some young women asking whether it was sexy, desirable or even possible for a woman to have a six pack of [tag-cat Womens Health ]abs[/tag-cat] like a lot of young guys seem to get fairly easily if they are in even reasonably good shape.

 

Outside of body building events its very rare indeed to see a woman with a six pack type of stomach. Reason for this is that women's body fat is in an all over layer under the skin. Women can still have completely flat stomachs if they're relatively fit and are not carrying too many extra pounds. Also consider woman on average have about twice as much body fat as a man and men on average have 33% more muscle then a woman. This is why it's not that hard at least for young guys to have a six pack without hardly even trying. Even if a women works out very hard on her [tag-tec]stomach[/tag-tec] area she still needs to lose that layer of fat that covers it up and that's a lot easier said then done.

 

Ok so it is possible for a woman to have a six pack of abs, but it's really not desirable Why? Well like I mentioned before even with great ab muscle structure a woman needs to lose a lot of fat just to get those muscles to show up. Woman as the potential host to children require a much higher percentage of body fat so reducing it to the level of a fit man is not all that healthy and quite frankly even when I women reaches that low level of fat content it's a serious battle just to keep it at that level unless your one of those body building women you see on TV who pump themselves up with male hormones and they'll pay the price for that later in life just like the men who take roids do.

 

Ok the answer to the questions you've all been waiting for, is it sexy?! And the answer is (drum roll please) …………NO. This is good news to all you women out there who think this will help you get a man. I can tell you as a man myself that men like a woman who is in shape and if firm, but don't mistake firm for hard. We love woman who are soft and smooth because well ……… opposites attract. If I wanted to hold someone who is muscular I’d hug a man (did I say that out loud?), yuk! Seriously men like a fit woman, but we like that normal level of fat woman carry that make them soft to the touch. Yes we also like a flat stomach, but if it’s a little poufy it's not the end of the world as few woman have a perfectly flat stomach so don't sweat it.
